The\u00a0<\/strong>theme\u00a0of the eighth edition of\u00a0<\/strong>Italian Design Day 2024,\u00a0<\/strong>“Creating Value: inclusivity, innovation, and sustainability”, aims to explore the modes of production, not only in aesthetic and functional terms but also in terms of\u00a0<\/strong>intrinsic value.<\/strong><\/p>\n This year marks the\u00a0eighth edition of Italian Design Day, the annual event that provides a global platform through a diverse range of activities, including exhibitions, meetings, presentations, competitions, and seminars, where experts, entrepreneurs, and journalists in the field share their experiences to\u00a0promote Italian design worldwide.<\/p>\n The event is promoted and organized by the\u00a0Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/a>, in collaboration with the\u00a0Ministry of Culture – Directorate General of Contemporary Creativity<\/a>, and with the contribution of prominent institutions and organizations in the sector, including the\u00a0ADI Compasso d’Oro Foundation<\/a>, the\u00a0Triennale di Milano<\/a>, the\u00a0Salone del Mobile<\/a>,\u00a0Federlegno Arredo<\/a>, and the\u00a0ICE Agency – Italian Trade & Investment Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n The objective of this edition is to address current challenges, highlighting the ability of Italian design to\u00a0generate culture\u00a0and\u00a0promote relationships, both between craftsmanship and innovation and between different countries, sharing common values and commitments to address\u00a0major global issues.<\/p>\n
